In the year of 2008 the MMORPG games on the PC platform proved to be strong. A true hype at where all sorts of companies tried to take their share. Myself, as a casual player, also left my FPS addiction and traded it in with an MMORPG, different but very satisfying. I started off with Anarchy Online a space 3rd-person MMORPG and the classic D&D type engine, time based attacks/leveling by XP etc. etc. While anarchy was already getting old by the time I started playing it I quickly made the jump to the ever so famous ‘World of Warcraft’. Yes, again this is an article that contains links to World of Warcraft. Allot of other companies tried to lift on this MMO hype, for example Warhammer online and Age of Conan had very strong new things to bring to the MMO table. But for some reason WoW is the only one succeeding in this hype, with plans to release
